Superb Swede Wins Sponsorship Package from VC Poker.com. Two VC Players Remain in Contention for $5 Million Prize.

With two consecutive final table finishes in the first two tournaments of the $10 Million Grand Slam, a superb Swede by the handle of Epsilon is the first big winner in the $10 Million Grand Slam winning $11,580 in cash prizes and a player sponsorship package from VC Poker.com.

With a fifth place finish in the second Grand Slam tournament following hard on the heels of his third place showing in the inaugural event, the native of Linkoping Sweden has now qualified for a sponsorship package from VC Poker (at minimum). More importantly, prizes of $100,000 or $250,000 are still eminently achievable if the savvy Swede manages to place on the final table in either or both of the remaining tournaments—a very realistic possibility given his consistent play to date.

The same holds true for Week One Winner Chompchomp who now needs to run the table over the remaining two events to take home the $5 Million prize, having lost his chance to win $10 Million and the prize as VC Poker’ first $10 Million Grand Slam Winner. Unable to duplicate their final table success in the first tournament of the series, Week One Finalists Dow-Sun and gango now drop out of contention for the million dollar prizes whilst remaining very much in contention for the $100,000 and VC Sponsorship prizes. Shadyjohnd, like Chompchomp, will resume his quest for the $5 Million prize when action resumes with round three of the Grand Slam on 17 December, 2006 at 20:45 GMT.
