VC Poker.com Crowns New King in Star Studded Poker Tournament
Celeb sightings the order of the day at Victor Chandler’s King of Poker Event
VC Poker and lads mag Maxim teamed up once again to play host to the 2006 King of Poker Final at the historic Cafe De Paris in London’s West end. Beauties Rebecca Loos, Ashley Raye and Atomic Kitten Liz MacLarnon played on the poker tables along with Michael Greco, DJ Brandon Block, comedian Richard Herring, Sir Clive Sinclair and John McCririck. The spotlight shone brightest on Footballer Teddy Sheringham and cuddly companion Danielle Lloyd (Miss UK) who battled eventual Charity Tournament Winner Henrietta Oxblade to the last draw. In the end, the print journalist’s win resulted in $5000 donated to Cancer Research and the One to One Children’s fund and high praise from the victor.
“It was fantastically well organized tournament with a great atmosphere and an overall magical and glamorous feel.”
